Terms of Service

By accessing or using VaultedTextures ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

You must be old enough to use online services in your jurisdiction and comply with Discord's Terms of Service to authenticate via Discord OAuth.

You are responsible for all activity under your account and for maintaining the security of your Discord account.

One person should not operate multiple accounts to evade bans, rate limits, or review queues unless explicitly authorized by staff.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or community standards.

VaultedTextures uses Discord OAuth for sign-in. You grant us permission to receive the profile information Discord shares during login.

Optional Discord server membership features, if enabled, may require joining or verifying membership in the official VaultedTextures Discord.

We are not responsible for Discord outages, account compromises on Discord's side, or changes to Discord's API or policies.

You retain ownership of texture packs, images, descriptions, and other content you upload ("User Content").

By publishing on VaultedTextures, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, and promote your User Content in connection with operating and marketing the Service.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to upload and distribute your User Content, including textures, sounds, fonts, and branding, and that your content does not infringe third-party rights.

Do not upload malware, stolen assets, deceptive files, illegal content, or packs designed to harm users or their devices.

Uploads are subject to file type validation, size limits, storage quotas, and automated or manual review before or after publication.

VaultedTextures may offer an optional AI tool to suggest pack descriptions. Access may be limited by role, cooldown, and site settings.

AI output is provided as-is without guarantee of accuracy. You must review and edit generated text before publishing.

Do not use the AI writer to generate misleading claims, impersonation, hate speech, or content that violates these Terms.

We may log prompts and outputs to enforce cooldowns, prevent abuse, and improve safety.

Vaulted+ is a premium membership that may include ad-free browsing, increased storage, profile perks, and priority review. Pricing, trial length, and perks are displayed on the Vaulted+ page and may change with notice.

Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends. Billing is processed by our payment provider; refund policies follow applicable law and provider rules.

Staff may grant complimentary Vaulted+ access. Granted access may be revoked for abuse or policy violations.

Subscription perks do not guarantee approval of uploads, featured placement, or verification badges.

VaultedTextures may display third-party advertisements to support free access. Ad providers may use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy.

Vaulted+ members with ad removal enabled should receive an ad-reduced or ad-free experience when that feature is active.

You may not block ads in ways that circumvent paid features or interfere with site operation where ad display is required for free tier access.

You agree not to harass, threaten, impersonate staff, spam, scrape at abusive rates, bypass security controls, exploit bugs, or interfere with other users' enjoyment of the Service.

Reviews and comments must be honest and relevant. Fake ratings, brigading, and coordinated manipulation are prohibited.

Do not attempt to reverse engineer, overload, or attack VaultedTextures infrastructure.

VaultedTextures staff, reviewers, moderators, and automated systems may review uploads, comments, and profiles before or after publication.

We may approve, reject, edit metadata, reassign categories, remove content, restrict features, issue warnings, or ban accounts at our discretion to protect the community.

Decisions about featured placement, trending visibility, editor's picks, and verification badges are editorial and not guaranteed.

If you believe a moderation action was made in error, contact staff through official channels. Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent bans.

VaultedTextures provides utility tools including pack format converters on an as-is basis. Converted output may require manual fixes; we do not guarantee compatibility with every Minecraft version or modded environment.

Tool usage may be rate-limited. Some tools require authentication.

VaultedTextures name, branding, site design, and original platform code are our property or our licensors' property. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios / Microsoft. VaultedTextures is not affiliated with or endorsed by Mojang or Microsoft.

Report copyright infringement through our official Discord or contact channels. Repeat infringers may have accounts terminated.

You may delete your account from Dashboard → Security. Deletion is permanent.

Upon deletion, personal profile data is removed or anonymized subject to our Privacy Policy. Public packs may be removed or retained in anonymized form.

Outstanding subscriptions should be cancelled before deletion to avoid further charges.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant uninterrupted uptime, error-free operation, or that downloads are free of defects. Use downloaded packs at your own risk.

Third-party links, ads, and Discord integrations are not under our control.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PACKVAULT AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR USER CONTENT.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid to VaultedTextures in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) fifty US dollars (USD $50).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VaultedTextures and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where VaultedTextures is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Where permitted, disputes should first be raised through our official support channels before pursuing formal legal remedies.
